Advocacy, Volunteering & Recognition

Motherhood is political. Not in the red-or-blue sense, but in the deeply personal way that affects every part of our lives—paid leave, maternal healthcare, childcare accessibility, workplace rights, economic justice, and gender equity. Too often, these systems are designed without us in mind.

I believe in changing that narrative. Advocacy isn’t just something I do—it’s something I live. Through grassroots organizing, policy advocacy, community education, and personal coaching, I aim to elevate the voices of mothers and caregivers, amplify solutions, and drive real change.

This work is about more than individual support; it’s about systemic transformation—ensuring that mothers and caregivers have real, tangible support to thrive, not just survive.

Where I Show Up

📢 Chamber of Mothers —

Co-Facilitator, Philadelphia Chapter

Chamber of Mothers is a nationwide collective fighting for maternal rights in America, including paid family leave, affordable childcare, and maternal health reform. As co-facilitator of the Philadelphia Chapter, I work to mobilize local advocacy efforts, organize events, and empower mothers with knowledge, resources, and action steps.

🌍 Oxfam America Action Network

Oxfam fights for economic, gender, and climate justice on a global scale, and I’m proud to be part of the Oxfam America Action Network. This year, I’m attending the International Women’s Day Conference for Equity & Advocacy in Washington, D.C., joining changemakers to push for policy reforms that impact women, caregivers, and marginalized communities.

🤰 Perinatal Partners Network — Co-Facilitator

Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care should be accessible, safe, and equitable for all. Through the Perinatal Partners Network, I collaborate with professionals and advocates to improve perinatal support in our region. Whether it’s increasing awareness of maternal mental health or addressing gaps in care, this work centers the needs of birthing people and their families.

🏛️ Community Classes & Outreach

Education and advocacy go hand in hand. That’s why I regularly host community classes and discussions at:

✔️ Greene Towne Montessori – supporting parents navigating early childhood and neurodivergence
✔️ Center City Pediatrics – facilitating conversations around maternal health, early childhood, and family well-being

These spaces create opportunities to share knowledge, build community, and drive change.
